QUIET CORNER PRIDE
Events
While our Pride celebration takes place on the first weekend of May, we hope to build community through monthly events that take place all year long.
Check back here often to keep up to date about where we are gathering next. If you have an idea of something we should do as an event, please reach out and help us organize it!
SUMMER POTLUCK
Bring your favorite summer casserole, leafy salad, or another tasty treat to our first summer potluck! We will be gathering at the West Thompson Dam in North Grosvenordale on Wednesday, July 8th at 5:30.
Parking is available at the ranger station near the dam. There are limited spots, so please carpool if possible to make sure we have room for everyone who wishes to join.
If you are unable to bring food -- that is ok! Just come ready to meet some new friends, have some fun, and enjoy a sunny summer evening with some cool people. Other things wise to bring: bug spray, a chair, or a blanket.
End of summer FIELD DAY
Remember the best days of elementary or middle school -- the ones where everyone gathered outside to play games and dance to music? That is exactly the vibe we are aiming to recreate with an end of summer field day. Mark your calendars for September 13th! Location TBD.
What's next?
We are hoping to eventually host a community event each month. In order to do so we are in need of you! What is something we should be doing together? What's your favorite thing to do? What's your hobby?
Invite us along. We want to share your world with you. If you have an idea of a new event or know a local business in your neighborhood that would be open to hosting an activity or event, please reach out.
